Since I travel a lot for work, I want to buy a new gaming laptop.  It needs to be light enough to haul all over the place while being powerful enough to play all games with no limitations.  I don't mind spending a little extra to get something good (since I have a lot of free time in hotel rooms and random cities), but I am looking for a good overall value.

What is the best gaming laptop?

Should I buy something now or do you think there are new technologies around the corner that I should wait for?

Should I just get an ipad and use the OnLive service to stream high tech games?

It seems like the Intel Sandy Bridge Core i7 processor has been a favorite, but I just read an article about the AMD Ilano Fusion APU which is supposed to surpass the performance of the Sandy Bridge Processor.  Any thoughts?
