Sega Pass has been hacked. 1.3 million customers had their information compromised because they signed up to play games onlien with other people. This news comes shortly after the hacking of Sony and Nintendo sites and services.
Many companies and government agencies have been getting hacked. While the problem isn't isolated to the video game industry, there have been a lot of hacking within the industry.

MSI has two new gaming laptops (model numbers GT780R and GX780). Both will have Intel Sandy Bridge Core i7 2630QM processors, 17.3 inch HD anti-reflct screens with 1920x1080 resulotion, cinema sound with a subwoofer, USB 3.0 and HDMI ports, etc...
Where they differ is in their graphics cards. The GT780R has a Nvidia GeForce GTX 560M with 1.5GB of RAM while the GX780 has a slower Nvidia GeForce GT555M with 1GB of RAM.

OnLive is a service that allows you to play games on any screen while the game is being run on a server farm and displayed over the internet on any monitor.
This is a form of cloud computing that allows people to play high end games without having high end gaming hardware. It will be exciting to see how much better the service will get as the broadband speeds continue to improve.

PC gaming continues to deliver the best performance, but all of the attention is going to the consoles and mobile gaming platforms.
The biggest reason for this is that hardware companies make more money by creating their own consoles. Microsoft might make some revenue when you buy your high performance gaming PC, but they make a lot more when someone buys an Xbox.

I really enjoy thinking about the future because the technology we get to play with just keeps getting better.
I was listening to a speech by Bill Gates a few years ago and I got excited when he said there was no reason why we had to interact with each other on a flat screen with a keyboard. He started talking about how we will interact in virtual reality with numerous options for making connections.
