MSI has two new gaming laptops (model numbers GT780R and GX780).  Both will have Intel Sandy Bridge Core i7 2630QM processors, 17.3 inch HD anti-reflct screens with 1920x1080 resulotion, cinema sound with a subwoofer, USB 3.0 and HDMI ports, etc...

 

Where they differ is in their graphics cards.  The GT780R has a Nvidia GeForce GTX 560M with 1.5GB of RAM while the GX780 has a slower Nvidia GeForce GT555M with 1GB of RAM.

 

The GT780R will cost around $1,749 while the GX780 will cost around $1,549.

Personally, I don't think these gaming laptops are the best deal or value out there right now.  I think people who buy something like this are paying more for what they should be getting. 

 

Of course, some people don't get as specific with their technology purchases as I do so these would be simple purchases for someone who doesn't know or doesn't care about getting the best possible gaming technology.
